Labor Day Recognition

As Labor Day approaches, The Kentucky Partnership will recognize farmers and their families for the contributions they have made to our community. In past years we have remembered and honored farmers in the Bowling Green Daily News. We are so excited to let you know this recognition will be published in the September 2026 edition of SOKY Happenings! They have a distribution of approximately 10,000 copies in 6 counties each month as well as over 15,000 Facebook followers.

We invite you to take part by sending in the names of those farmers in your family and/or your community which have contributed to providing us with the abundant and affordable food which we enjoy each day. All farmers being honored and those families of farmers being remembered will receive a card of acknowledgment from The Kentucky Partnership. Please note on your form that several things have changed and been updated as we adapt to new goals as an organization, if you have participated in past years.

If you wish to take part, for a contribution of $30.00, you will be entitled to recognize either all Kentucky farmers, farmers in a specific county or (1) individual farmer or farm family in the Labor Day Recognition. Additional farmers or farm families can also be recognized for an additional donation of $10.00 each. Please take this opportunity to complete the enclosed form showing those you wish to recognize.

Your contribution to the Labor Day Recognition of our farmers and farm families will enable The Partnership to continue programs such as reducing farm related injuries and illnesses, promoting Agricultural Safety and Health Screenings.
