Farmer Health Screenings
In partnership with the South Central KY Area Health Education Center (AHEC), the Ky Partnership is offering free physical and mental health screenings for farmers and their family members at various agricultural events in the BRADD region. Past screenings have included: hearing, blood pressure, glucose, lipids, and anxiety and depression screenings. In addition, the local health department has provided tetanus and flu vaccines. These screening events can help decrease the barriers, including time and travel distance, that farmers face when accessing healthcare.
