A man and two children were seriously injured when a tractor they were riding collided with a car near Tolleson Thursday night.

The collision happened about 9:40 p.m. near 75th Avenue and Broadway Road.

Firefighters found the man who was driving the tractor pinned underneath it.

Capt. Benjamin Santillan with the Phoenix Fire Department said crews extricated the man and he was transported in extremely critical condition to a nearby trauma center.

A 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy were transported in critical condition to a pediatric trauma center.

The driver and passenger in the car were not injured.

The collision is under investigation.

No names have been released.
